My first-year project, Undulating Flux, was featured on the top tech blogs in the world, as well as numerous other technology and art related websites.  Visit the News section for links.

I began my academic research and development work upon entering the Arts Computation Engineering masters program at UC Irvine in September 2009.  I am currently working on my masters thesis, which you can view here.  The topics include:

  • sensory substitution/augmentation
  • haptics (vibrotactile, electrostim)
  • interactive performance technology
  • game culture
  • non-verbal constructed language
  • biofeedback and bioenergy sensors
  • mind/body connection

I first had the idea for the my current work when I was ten years old.  I will use my experiences from the music, new media, healing facilitation, and marketing worlds together with my ACE coursework to inform my R&D process and make my inventive visions a reality.
