I began my academic research and development work upon entering the Arts Computation Engineering masters program at UC Irvine in September 2009. I am currently working on my masters thesis, which you can view here. The topics include:
- sensory substitution/augmentation
- haptics (vibrotactile, electrostim)
- interactive performance technology
- game culture
- non-verbal constructed language
- biofeedback and bioenergy sensors
- mind/body connection
I first had the idea for the my current work when I was ten years old. I will use my experiences from the music, new media, healing facilitation, and marketing worlds together with my ACE coursework to inform my R&D process and make my inventive visions a reality.
